- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Would not recommend this practice to anyone. I've been having problems with tendinitis, bursitis and impingement off and on for 2 yrs. Over the last 3 1/2 months it has been flaring up and getting progressively worse so I went to see a NP at my general practice. She prescribed a brace and an anti inflammatory and said if it didn't get better to follow up. Well, there was no change so I came to Upstate Bone and Joint hoping to get some more proactive treatment. However, the PA there would not administer a cortisone shot and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and yep, you guessed it, the same brace I've been using for months now. Some specialists. Also, I left a message with the office manager reporting my experience and asking for a response but have yet to hear back.
